SECURITYSOLUTION

Terms and conditions

Last updated 18 October 2026

These terms apply to security services provided by DeGenesis Security Solution Ltd ("we", "us"), registered in England and Wales, company number 17112737, registered office 20 Polefield Gardens, Prestwich, Manchester M25 2NW. By booking our services you agree to these terms. Where we agree a separate written contract or assignment instructions with you, those take priority where they differ.

1. Proposals and quotes

Proposals are based on the information you give us about the site, event, risks and duties. If the work changes materially, we will agree any change in officer numbers, duties or price with you before it takes effect. Proposals are valid for 30 days.

2. Bookings and assignment instructions

  • A booking is confirmed when we confirm the dates, hours, number of officers and price to you in writing, including by email.
  • Before work starts we agree assignment instructions setting out the duties, site rules, contacts and emergency procedures. Our officers work to those instructions.
  • Please tell us about any known risks, hazards or previous incidents at the site.

3. Licensing

Every officer we deploy holds the Security Industry Authority licence required for the activity they carry out. Licence details can be provided on request.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Give our officers safe access to the site and to welfare facilities such as toilets and somewhere to take breaks.
  • Do not ask officers to carry out duties outside the agreed instructions, or anything that is unsafe or unlawful.
  • Tell us promptly of any change to the site, event or risks.

5. Changes and cancellations

Please give at least 48 hours notice to change or cancel a shift. Shifts cancelled with less than 48 hours notice may be charged in full. If an officer arrives and is unable to start because of something within your control, the shift may be charged. Minimum shift lengths may apply and will be stated in your proposal.

6. Prices and payment

  • Prices are per officer per hour unless your proposal says otherwise. Higher rates may apply on bank holidays and for urgent bookings, and will always be agreed in advance.
  • We invoice weekly or monthly, or after a one-off booking. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date, by bank transfer or card.
  • For business customers, we may charge interest and compensation on late payments under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

7. Staff

To protect our business, business customers agree not to employ or engage, directly or through another company, any officer we have supplied to them during the contract or for 6 months after the officer last worked on their site, without our written agreement.

8. Reports and incidents

Our officers keep a shift log and report incidents to your nominated contact. Please report any concern about our service as soon as possible so we can look into it.

9. Our responsibility to you

We will carry out our services with reasonable care and skill. Security services reduce risk but cannot guarantee that loss, damage or crime will not happen. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

10. Ending a contract

Unless your contract says otherwise, either of us can end an ongoing arrangement by giving 14 days notice in writing, including by email.

11. Complaints

Please email info@degenesissecurity.co.uk or call 07591 280644. We aim to respond within 2 working days.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
